PREMISE
Mirto the stork is a postbird. He has only half a day left to complete his deliveries: one letter and two packages.
To reach each destination, he cycles through the chaotic streets of Rome, weaving between the city’s nervous, exhausted, and lonely inhabitants. Time is running out, and a series of unfortunate events , from traffic jams to a near-fatal encounter with a reckless polar bear driver, keeps making him later and later. The city, and its people, do nothing to ease his task.
In this chaotic Italian animal world, a society driven by individualism and constant acceleration leaves little room for calm and empathy.
Will Mirto manage to complete his deliveries?
And is that really his only challenge?
