Matilde graduated at Design Academy Eindhoven, specializing in combining her passions for music and storytelling through animation. Her style is experimental, often utilizing diverse animation techniques to enhance the content of the story. 

Currently based in Rome,  she is working as a lead set designer at the stop-motion studio Fantasmagorie. Her work includes creating props and sets for both fully 
felt-covered environments and painted productions. 

Alongside this, she works as a freelance 2D animator, specializing in in-between animation. She often uses animation as a collaborative tool to connect different art forms, particularly through projects with musicians and the creation of informative animated pieces. 

She is currently looking for collaborators to help develop a 2D animated short film project. The script was developed during the Professional Scriptwriting Course at the Aardman Academy.
